Frequently Asked Questions

How is Nature Centered Coaching different than traditional coaching?

Traditional coaching focuses on the Conscious and Emotional levels of navigating life with a few training programs offering a couple tools for the Subconscious and/or Physical body. These traditional programs don't address the energetic side of the Physical, let alone the Spiritual level. INCC offers a variety of tools at all the auric levels: Physical, Emotional, Conscious, Subconscious & Spiritual in order to help meet the client where they are and address their needs holistically.

When do I get access to the Student Dashboard?

You'll receive access to the INCC Student Dashboard when your forms and payment are received. Access to modules will open approximately one week prior to classes beginning,

What is the Insitute of Nature Centered Coaching cancellation policy?

Students may cancel their registration up through the second live class should they decide Nature Centered Coaching is not their jam. A refund will be issued for tuition paid thus far, minus the $250 non-refundable deposit and any processing fees.

If I register, can I jump between the Evening and Daytime classes as it fits my schedule?

It takes some time to build trust and connection with fellow coaches in training. Groups follow the Storming, Norming, then Performing process. It's important that we maintain that momentum throughout. If someone new (or inconsistent) jumps in and out, it disrupts the greater group's ability to reach high performance in their coaching skills. So make sure that the program you sign up for is the program you're able to stay with for the entire 9 months.

What if I can't afford the tuition?

We recognize that the world at large is not equitable for all. If you are a Black, Indigenous, Person of Color, or LGBTIA we offer a sliding-scale rate. Please reach out to us directly to discuss your specific needs.

Do you have international programs?

With eight hours between the two classes, prospective students outside the United States will hopefully have a program option that works for their time zone. If these times do not work for you, please send us a note and if we have enough demand for that time zone, we can add another program option to accommodate. All programs would still be conducted in English.

How does Nature Centered Certification practically impact my career?

If you are already a Life Coach, this adds another layer of depth to your toolbag and a focused niche within a large industry where being specific about your area of expertise is helpful. In addition, you'll be exposed to a breadth of modalities. One or many may intrigue you so much that you decide to dive even deeper into a specialty. This gives you the option to taste a lot of the buffet of Nature Centered tools before investing to go even deeper in a particular direction. If you're not currently a Life Coach and aspire to transition into coaching full time, this program will give you a comprehensive set of tools to lead a coaching session from start to finish. You'll also receive ideas and tools to use in workshops and retreats, should you decide to offer that as part of your practice.

You'll get out what you put into this program. You can go deep if the topic fascinates you, or you can stay at the surface if it doesn't. How is this training program facilitated?

Each class has an on-demand pre-class learning module (with videos, audios and reading materials) as well as a live-class component. Students can anticipate spending about 2 hours of time in the week leading up to the live class for videos, audio and reading materials. Homework assignments take an average of 1 hour (some are more, some are less). The live classes via Zoom are 1.5 hours in duration. How often are classes?

Live classes are held each week for an hour and a half. There is a choice to register for either the 10 AM or 5 PM (Pacific) classes. We take a couple weeks break halfway through the program for some integration time. There is another break the last 2 weeks of December.

What if I can't attend all of the live classes?

While there is a great benefit to attending all of the live classes to engage with your expert teacher, connect with your peers, and practice the tools for immediate feedback...we understand that people go on vacation and emergencies arise. Each class will be recorded and provided to students in an archive of live classes for your review.

Can I get Continuing Education credits for this course?

At this time, INCC is not accredited for Continuing Education Credits, though aspires to be accredited in 2023, when it has met all the qualifications (including the minimum one year in business requirement).
