About Jazmin
Bio
Jazmin worked in state-level politics for over ten years and is currently an advocate for stronger social safety net programs in California. Our systems of support for people are lacking in so many ways, and Jazmin knows firsthand that focusing on wholistic approaches is the only way to truly care for the whole person.
Functional movement has always been an outlet for Jazmin, which has its origins in the sports she played as a youth, and now through the physical practice of yoga.
For years, Jazmin “did yoga”, but it wasn’t until she really started to understand the philosophy behind yoga that she truly fell in love with it as a wholistic form of wellness.
She was first exposed to breathwork after diving into various wellness practices. This took place while Jazmin was looking for alternatives to pharmaceutical medicines to relieve her own anxiety and depression. In those moments of darkness, taking time for functional movement, self reflection, and focusing inwards on my breath greatly improved her mental health.
Jazmin's calling to this work comes from a desire to hold a safe space for others to heal and the ripple effect that can have on the world as a whole.
